TRENTON — The men responsible for the death of a teenager during a Chambersburg shootout in 2015 were sentenced to prison Friday.
Gary Spears, 35, and Jermaine Johnson, 41, were sentenced for their individual roles in causing the death of 19-year-old Elvin Kimble.
Spears had previously pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter, having taken responsibility for firing the shot that ultimately ended Kimble’s life. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, subject to the No Early Release Act.
