Man sentenced for gun crime stemming from shooting

TRENTON — A city man charged with multiple shootings was sentenced to prison for one of his cases Friday.

Bayshawn Jennings, 22, had pleaded guilty to second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun in July. This charge stems from his involvement in a  New Year’s Day shooting.

He was sentenced to five years in prison under the Graves Act, and will be subject to three years of probation upon release.
