Students at Myron L. Powell paint rocks to honor Patriot's Day

CEDARVILLE — Students at the Myron L. Powell school took time to paint rocks in honor of Patriot’s  Day on Sept. 11.

The children painted images such as the World Trade Center and the American Flag to show their patriotism.

Throughout the day, students left their classrooms to place their rocks around the school’s flag pole. The stones served as a patriotic base and a place for visitors to see the work the students accomplished.
