Grade school hosts open house to meet the teachers and learn the layout

PENNS GROVE — The Lafayette Pershing School rolled out the red carpet for almost 150 students and their families for an Open House.

On Aug. 31, families were welcomed by the Lafayette-Pershing School Staff and given their name tags and classroom teacher. The families were encouraged to complete a scavenger hunt, consisting of fun rhyming clues, meant to help them tour and become familiar with the building and staff.
