Driver, 72, charged with flashing gun in road-rage incident

LOWER TWP. — A 72-year-old man was arrested over the weekend on charges he flashed a handgun at another during a road-rage incident, police say.

August Boback was charged with aggravated assault by pointing a firearm in the direction of another and several weapons possession charges.

Boback was driving a silver Hyundai SUV with Pennsylvania tags around 10 p.m. on Sunday when he became angry with another driver near Route 109 and the Garden State Parkway and pointed the gun at the people in the other vehicle, police said. No one was injured in the incident.
