Safety, suicide the focus of annual school security conference

WASHINGTON TWP. — Time equals body count. These words were Dan Jewiss’ mantra as he explained the lessons learned from the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

Jewiss, the lead investigator from Connecticut State Police in the Sandy Hook Tragedy, was invited to be the keynote speaker at the 11th annual South Jersey school security-safety conference held on Tuesday, at Washington Township High school.
