N.J man crashed into ravine after 2 robberies, clerk stabbing, cops say

MOUNT OLIVE — A New Jersey man’s two-state robbery spree that left a clerk with a stab wound last month ended when he crashed a stolen car into a ravine while trying to dispose of evidence, authorities said.

Dirk Michael Cuesta, 48, of Hackettstown, was arrested July 30 after he robbed a paint store in Washington Township, Morris County and then tried to dump the cash register in Mount Olive, police said.
