Man killed woman after encounter near deli, prosecutor says

SOMERVILLE – Tamar Reaves, known as “T-Mac,” 18, of the Somerset section of Franklin Township, has been charged with murder in the shooting death of fellow township resident Chamari Webb, also 18, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said on Thursday.

Webb was killed on Wednesday after an encounter with Reaves at 7:50 a.m. near a deli on Millstone Road, Robertson said. Reaves was taken into custody hours later as he tried to return home.
