3 teens charged with sex assault, robbery of woman in hotel

CLIFTON – Three teenagers were arrested this week and accused of forcing their way into a woman’s hotel room, sexually assaulting her and robbing her before fleeing, authorities said.

A three-week investigation led to three male suspects: a 15-year-old and 16-year-old from Paterson and a 16-year-old from Clifton, police said. Their names were not released because they are juveniles.

The attack occurred at the Howard Johnson Inn in the 600 block of Route 3 West, according to Clifton police Det. Lt. Robert Bracken.
