Cultural group urges witnesses to come forward in unsolved slaying of mom, son

MAPLE SHADE — A local cultural group is stepping up in an unsolved double murder, urging the community to come forward with details. 

Sasikala Narra and son Anish Narra, a 38-year-old woman and her 6-year-old son, were found stabbed to death in their apartment in March. Hanumantha Rao Narra, the husband and father, said during a 9911 call that he found the two dead in the apartment

While the FBI has stepped in to assist in the investigation, no arrests have been made. The victims, who are natives of India, were flown back to the country for burial services, authorities said.
