2 Elizabeth men convicted of drug dealing face 10 years in prison

ELIZABETH — Two Elizabeth men who went to trial after being charged in a drug bust last year were found guilty by a jury Tuesday.

Alphonse Anderson, 35, and Levar Davis, 37, were convicted after a four-day trial before state Superior Court Judge Robert Kirsch and several hours of jury deliberation, according to acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park.

Both men will face mandatory extended sentences of up to 10 years in state prison due to prior drug distribution convictions.
