1 killed when small plane crashes in Sussex County, state police say

GREEN — One person was killed Sunday morning when a small plane crashed at Trinca Airport, authorities said

State police said the pilot was pronounced dead at the scene of the 10:25 a.m. crash and no other passengers were on board.

Access to the airport was blocked off by police following the crash.

Saturday night, a small plane crashed in Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, sending three people to area hospitals.
