Ex-cop accused of Burger King bathroom sex assault offered plea deal

NEWTON — The former Newton police officer accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy in a Burger King bathroom has been offered a plea deal that calls for a five-year prison term.

Jason R. Miller, 40, of Hampton, has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His attorney Anthony Iacullo, said Wednesday that Miller was not inclined to take take the deal.

“The offer as it stands is not acceptable to Jason,” Iacullo said.
