Police probe stabbing at city park that injured teen girls

JERSEY CITY – Police are continuing the investigate a vicious stabbing at a city park Saturday night.

Two teen girls, ages 14 and 15, were stabbed after a fight broke out at Berry Lane Park at about 9 p.m. One girl suffered serious injuries while the second refused medical attention at the scene, a police report indicates.

Monday afternoon, police said they have identified a suspect in the attack but did not comment on whether any arrests have been made or if any warrants were issued.
