Police investigate 2 shootings in 24 hours in Millville

MILLVILLE — Millville Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred within 24 hours.

The first incident occurred 4:45 p.m. Sunday on the 500 block of East Oak Street. Authorities say they were called out to the scene after they received calls about shots being fired. When police arrived, they found six shell casings on the ground but no victim.

Police were notified that a 20-year-old male was being taken to Vineland Inspira Medical Center with two graze wounds to his neck. He was treated at the hospital and later released.
