Four are shot in 26-hour span in Jersey City, police say

JERSEY CITY — Four men were injured and three cars were damaged in shootings between Thursday and Friday nights, authorities said. 

Three of the five shootings reported in a 26-hour span occurred near public housing complexes. 

The first shooting was reported at the Booker T. Washington housing complex at about 9 p.m. on Thursday. No one was injured in the shooting, but a car parked on Bright Street was damaged, police said.
