2 killed in drunken driving crash caused by N.J. man, cops say

NEW YORK — A 33-year-old New Jersey driver was allegedly drunk and speeding when he caused a four-vehicle crash in Queens that killed his two passengers and left seven others hurt, according to a reports.

Andrew Shakespeare was speeding west on the Grand Central Parkway in Jamaica Estates on Sunday morning when he lost control of a 2014 BMW SUV, WABC-7 reported.

Shakespeare struck two vehicles after crossing over three lanes of traffic before hitting the guard rail and crossing into the eastbound lanes. 

The SUV then struck a third car, causing that vehicle and Shakespeare’s SUV to overturn.
