$30G+ raised for HMC Cancer Center at Derby Day horse show

The eighth annual Briarwood Farm Derby Day Horse Show in memory of Jack Benson raised more than $30,000 July 11 to benefit Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center.

Over the previous seven years Derby Day raised more than $160,000 for the center. Funds raised benefit cancer patients directly, or when appropriate the Foundation helps cancer victim families ease the many burdens that they face when the high costs of cancer affects a family’s ability to survive, said Briarwood owner Katie Benson.
