After last night, Camden's seen 11 fatal shootings so far this year

CAMDEN — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead Wednesday night. 

Police responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of 10th Street and Lansdowne Avenue around 11 p.m. At the scene, officers found 35-year-old Camden resident Saiheed Obryant, who had been shot multiple times, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office. 

Obryant was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:16 p.m., authorities said.  

The shooting is the 11th fatal one in the city so far this year.
