Sewage spill causes swimming, fishing ban in South Jersey creek

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP — Sewage poured into Big Timber Creek for about 90 minutes Sunday afternoon after a pump station lost power, officials said. 

While there is no threat to drinking water in homes or businesses, Camden County officials urge the public to not swim or fish in the Big Timber Creek or its tributaries for the next 24 hours.
