CAMDEN — A $18.3 million tax break has been approved by a state agency for a waterfront hotel in Camden, according to a report.

The Economic Development Authority approved the incentive in a June 13 meeting for the planned hotel proposed by Connor Strong & Buckelew, an investor group with ties to Democratic powerbroker George E. Norcross III, according to the Courier-Post.

The proposed hotel will have 180 rooms and cost about $52.8 million, the report says.
