4 new cops join the ranks in Hoboken

HOBOKEN – Two women were among four police officers sworn in by Hoboken City Clerk James Farina on Friday.

The Thursday night graduates of the Bergen County Police Academy joined Hoboken representatives, family and friends for an official ceremony.

New officers Bianca Arroyo, Harry Montalvo Jr., Jayla Vega and Jason Montalvo are flanked by Police Chief James Ferrante and Mayor Dawn Zimmer. 

The new officers were all born and raised in the city and are Hoboken High School graduates.
