Vote: Would former Sen. Joe Lieberman make a good FBI director?

President Donald Trump’s choices to staff his administration have sometimes been controversial. Michael Flynn for National Security Advisor, anyone? Or Steve Bannon? Or Jared and Ivanka Kushner?

Others have been wiser, like former generals James Mattis and H.R. McMaster. And the White House seems to have earned some praise for naming former FBI director Robert Mueller as special counsel to oversee the octopus-like reaches of the Russia investigations.

Next up is a new head of the FBI. Trump has promised to name James Comey’s replacement soon.

The front-runner is reportedly Joe Lieberman, a four-term Democratic senator from Connecticut.
