Student knocked out during robbery near TCNJ campus

EWING – A student from The College of New Jersey was knocked out and robbed while walking at the edge of the campus early Friday morning, township police said.

The crime occurred around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Carlton and Pennington avenues, at the entrance to the TCNJ campus.

The 21-year-old student his and two female friends were walking down the street when a man came up to them and asked, “What’s up?,” police said in a statement.
