Football: Snyder's Nolan Burns signs with Division I team, and other recruiting news

Nolan Burns played peewee football, only to stop when he arrived at Snyder High School.

Not only did Burns eventually return the game, it has taken him places he never thought were possible as a kid growing up in the Greenville section of Jersey City.

Earlier this month, Burns committed then signed a football scholarship to play at Robert Morris, a Division I FCS school in Pennsylvania. Burns is believed to be the first player from Snyder to sign with Division I program in more than 15 years.
