Cumberland County College's 50th commencement sets record (PHOTOS)

VINELAND — At its 50th commencement Thursday, Cumberland County College saw a record number of graduates receive their degrees.

The 758 students graduating as part of the CCC Class of 2017 was well above the previous record of students of 710 seen in 2015, college officials say.

Floyd Barnett III, senior manager of business operations for Sungard Availability Services and former CCC student, was the keynote speaker at the event.

This year a total of 976 degrees were awarded, including academic certificates, officials say.
