3rd defendant severed from trial for murder of army veteran

TRENTON – One of three men expected to stand trial next week for the 2011 murder of an army vet has been severed from the case following complications surrounding a key witness’s testimony. 

Dardar Paye fought for the U.S. military in the 1990s, serving tours in Iraq and Kosovo. He also served in the New Jersey National Guard. He was found dead in Trenton in 2011
