Praise police for peaceful end to 35-hour standoff in N.J. | Editorial

When Tyleeb Reese surrendered to police following a 35-hour standoff in Trenton, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

It was a relief to the displaced neighbors around the 300 block of Centre Street, where Reese was holed up after shooting at officers who came to serve him a warrant on May 10 for failing to appear in court for a Megan’s Law offense.
