Air Force retiree claims $1M Powerball prize

A retired member of the U.S. Air Force won $1 million playing Powerball earlier this year and missed hitting the $361 million jackpot by a single digit.

Daniel Snelgrow matched five numbers for the Feb. 18 drawing with a ticket he bought at Classic Wine & Liquor in Wrightstown.

Friends split $1M prize

Snelgrow handpicked the lucky numbers 3, 7, 9, 31 and 33. He chose a Powerball of 21 in honor of Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente. As it turns out the Powerball drawn was 20.
