Man struck at least twice in daytime shooting, cops say

ELIZABETH — A man was shot at least twice near South Park and Sixth streets in Elizabeth on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The gunfire broke out at 1:55 p.m., and the victim was brought to University Hospital in stable condition, Capt. Andrew King said.

No one has been charged in the shooting, as of Tuesday afternoon, King said.
