Embattled school superintendent seeking $20M in damages, report says

BRICK TOWNSHIP – A suspended Brick Township Public Schools superintendent and his daughter plan to sue the school district, township and the county prosecutor for $20 million each in damages, the Asbury Park Press reported.

An attorney representing Walter Uszenski, 65, of Manasquan, his daughter Jacqueline Halsey and Uszenski’s grandchild, notified school district officials in April of their intent to sue the school district, the township, Brick Mayor John G. Ducey, the township’s Business Administrator Joanne Bergen, as well as Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato and his staff, the report said.
