2 Killed as Jet Crashes While Landing at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey

A Lear Jet crashed near Teterboro Airport in New Jersey as it attempted to land on Monday afternoon, killing two crew members and setting several cars and buildings ablaze near the airport, according to officials.

The Federal Aviation Administration, in a statement, said the plane had taken off from Philadelphia International Airport and was approaching a runway when it crashed at 3:30 p.m. about a quarter of a mile from the airport.
