Light Rail service suspended in Jersey City after 'pedestrian incident'

Service on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail has been suspended in both directions between Liberty State Park and Danforth Avenue in Jersey City due to a “pedestrian light rail incident,” NJ Transit said. 

The incident occurred north of the Richard Street station, according to an NJ Transit advisory, although details of what happened were not immediately available this morning. 

A message left for NJ Transit was not immediately returned.
