Legally blind N.J. woman reportedly sues Dartmouth over lack of accomodations

RANDOLPH — A New Jersey woman who is legally blind has filed suit against Dartmouth College alleging the Ivy League school failed to provide her with accommodations allowing her to fully participate in class, NBC New York reported.

Staci Mannella, of Randolph, who has been legally blind since birth with a condition known as achromatopsia, alleges Dartmouth repeatedly delayed or failed to provide her with note takers, test readers, lab assistants and other visual aids, according to NBC.
