World Series painting by Cubs player from N.J. raises $35K for charity

The talents of Chicago Cubs outfielder and New Jersey native Matt Szczur extend beyond the baseball field.

A painting created by the Lower Cape May Regional High School graduate brought in $35,000 at the team’s charity auction on Wednesday night, Szczur said on his Instagram page.
