Shore town votes on more restrictions for beaches, boardwalk

SEASIDE HEIGHTS – The borough council unanimously voted Wednesday night to place additional restrictions on access to the borough’s popular beaches and boardwalk, News 12 reported.

Under one of the proposed rules, beach hours would be extended from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends and holidays starting Memorial Day weekend, requiring anyone who wants to use the beach before 9 p.m. – when the beaches will be cleared and the gates will be locked – to purchase beach badges before the cashiers close at 6 p.m.
