GLASSBORO — The Rowan University officer who was injured after being hit by a car is expected to be out of work for several months, according to university officials.
Officer Russel Carmolingo is resting and recovering at his parents ‘home in Washington Township after being hit by a car on Saturday night. The accident happened around 10 p.m., while Carmolingo was conducting a traffic stop on Route 322 near the university campus.
