Cops investigate electricity theft, find marijuana grow facility

EGG HARBOR TWP — Police arrested four people after a report of electricity theft last week led to the discovery of a marijuana grow facility.

An Atlantic City Electric investigator called police to a home in the 300 block of Glenn Avenue to help look into electricity allegedly being stolen through a meter bypass, police said.

When they arrived, officers came across a strong odor of marijuana from inside the home and took the four into custody.
