Firefighter injured, house collapses in large blaze

PENNSAUKEN — A firefighter broke his ankle while working to control a blaze in Pennsauken early Wednesday, according to a report.

The three-story home on Zimmerman Avenue eventually collapsed, WPVI-6 reported. 

Residents fled to safety before the home collapsed while firefighters battled the flames.

The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m.
