5th suspect charged in killing of Camden County woman in Trenton

TRENTON – A fifth person has been charged in the killing of Amber Dudley, the Camden County woman shot to death during a botched robbery in Trenton last year, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office announced Wednesday.

Douglas Mathis, 52, of Trenton, is the most recent person accused in the November killing of Dudley, who was fatally wounded while in a car driving under the rideshare service Lyft.

Mathis was charged April 10, while in the Camden County Jail on unrelated charges, the office said. It was not immediately clear what part Mathis allegedly played in the crime.
