Arizona woman seriously injured in crash, police say

BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — An Arizona woman was seriously injured Monday when her car slammed into pole on Old York Road, police said.

Police said other motorists assisted the injured driver, Kelly Vasicek, 53, of Kingman, Ariz. after her Pontiac minivan struck the pole at about 11:05 a.m. Monday. She was unresponsive at the scene but regained consciousness after EMS crews arrived, police said.

The crash occurred in the 2400 block of Old York Road. Vasicek was taken to Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly for treatment, police said.

The collision’s cause remained under investigation Tuesday.
