Widow: $300 fine not enough for captain in fatal boat crash, report says

The $300 fine assessed to a New Jersey boat captain following a fatal crash with a Connecticut man is far too lenient a punishment, the boater’s widow said.

“Those (three) $100 fines just don’t cut it with me,” Peggy Krupinski told WesterlySun.com.

Her husband, Walter Krupinski, died when his 23-foot boat collided with a 60-foot yacht operated by a Cape May County man in September 2015.
