Family displaced from Hardyston home by fire

HARDYSTON — A family was displaced from a single-family home in the Lake Stockholm section of the township Monday afternoon when a fire broke out and heavily damaged the residence, New Jersey Herald reported.

Two people were home at the time of the fire, but they escaped without injury, the newspaper reported.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined, but the home was reportedly rendered uninhabitable by smoke and water damage.
