Public slow in providing help in N.J. murder case, police say

PENNS GROVE — It’s been more than a week since a man was fatally shot outside a local bar, but those who witnessed the killing have provided few clues about what happened, police say.

Anthony Gregory was killed and Jeffrey Paige was wounded when gunfire broke out in the street outside Super Discount Liquors on East Main Street early on March 12.

So far, there are no suspects in custody and police have received little help from the community, despite a request for information, according to Penns Grove Chief of Police John T. Stranahan Sr.
