Man attacks, spits at cops after robbing hotel, police say

SOUTH BRUNSWICK — A 27-year-old man is accused of knocking a police officer investigating a hotel robbery into a wall Saturday and then spitting on two officers before being arrested, according to a statement from police.

Kevin Thompson-Perry, of West Paterson, is charged with robbery, aggravated assault, throwing bodily fluids at a law enforcement officer, and related charges, according to police.
