Hourigan elected chairman of Salem County Board of Elections

SALEM —  The Salem County Board of Elections, at its reorganization meeting March 8, seated members Scott Hourigan of Pennsville and David Crescenzi of Pennsville.

Hourigan, a Republican, and Crescenzi, a Democrat, were reappointed to new two-year terms on the board by Gov. Chris Christie.

Also at the reorganization meeting, members voted for Hourigan to serve a one-year term as chairman and Crescenzi to serve a one-year term as secretary, with John Burke of Pilesgrove, a Democrat, and Dana Mulligan of Pilesgrove, a Republican, serving as members.
