Gunfire reports lead to 2 weapons arrests, cops say

TRENTON — Trenton police responding to separate reports of gunfire  on Sunday arrested two people on weapons charges.

Just before 2 a.m., Street Crimes Unit detectives went to the 100 block of Oakland Street on a report of shots fired. A man, later identified as 27-year-old Breyon Wilson, was seen walking and adjusting his waistband, police said.

Detectives found a loaded gun on him, police said. He was taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and certain persons not to have weapons.
