Bomb threats made on 2 PATH stations in Harrison, NYC

Authorities are investigating bomb threats made on two PATH stations late Sunday night.

Just after 11 p.m., a man called 911 somewhere in New York and said there was a bomb at the Harrison PATH station. The caller stayed on the line with police and a few minutes later said another bomb was inside the 33rd Street station, Port Authority spokesman Joe Pentangelo said.

Police suspended service for about an hour to search all of the stations system-wide, he said.

Authorities did not find any explosives. No one was arrested in connection with the threats and the incident remains under investigation, Pentangelo said.
