Affordable housing deal hurts East Amwell; Save the Union Hotel | Feedback

To the editor:

I attended the East Amwell Township’s special meeting on affordable housing on March 2 and learned that the township has been offered a settlement to end its on-going litigation regarding its affordable housing obligation.

The settlement would require that our township develop plans to build about 80 affordable units between now and 2025. The alternative is to continue the litigation at great expense with a highly uncertain outcome.
