DOVER — The town approved a municipal identification program Tuesday, becoming the third municipality in the state to do so.
The nine-member City Council led by Mayor of James P. Dodd unanimously approved the measure to the applause of many Hispanic residents in attendance for the vote.
“For us this very important,” said 21-year-old Dover resident Reynerio Bernal in Spanish. “We live here, work here and this gives us more respect and more sense of community.”
